Ok, finally it's out.
I've checked Cathay Pacific Inflight entertainment for the month of Dec and the following are some of the movies which I've shortlisted.
Frankly speaking, I was hoping they will have more interesting new release than these... well...

From SG to HK
1. 500 Days of Summer!
Dear just watched this in Vancouver with his friends and they all like it. So yeah!!! I can watch it on the flight for free!!!

2. On His Majesty's Secret Service (HK Movie)
Some crazy show by Wong Jing..

There's "Hua Bi" too.. see which one I'll be in the mood for then.. there's Pinocchio too, so can watch that too. Or what about "The Time Traveler's Wife"? sounds good too.

But my flight is only 3-4hrs? So I'll most probably need 2 movies...

From HK to Vancouver
1. UP
I wanted to catch this in cinema, so it's a good thing that I didn't..

2. Finding Nemo
I didn't watch this despite channel 5 showing this on tv for qt a few times alr. so it's another good thing again.

3. Julie and Julia
Since it's a comedy, shouldn't be too bad right? But after watching the trailer, maybe I'll put this last..

4. Funny People
Errr... not heard of this movie... but seems funny..

5. Harry Potter and the half blood Prince!
I just finished that book, so I may rewatch this movie!! yeah!!

And there's a few random ones which I may watch if I've run out of things to do... but 5 movies should be more than enough, given that the flight is 12hrs and I still need to sleep to get ready for my new day in Vancouver!!!

Btw, they will be showing 300 too... but it's so gory n sad, I doubt I will even want to come across that channel.. eeks!

Looking for Jan program!! But at least Dear will be by my side then, so if there's nothing good to watch, I will always have him to chat with.

In a month like November where there's no public holiday to look forward to....
Time crawls...

Haiz.. at least there's December to look forward to. I'll have 4 days off next month! Haji, X'mas eve, X'mas, Boxing day and new year's eve! Woohoo!

I'm alr dreading the March, Apr & June, July period....it's the public holiday drought period... nvm, i shall keep my leaves for that few months..

Sob, S01 gg KL.. but I can't go cos of work. Haiz... not only I can't go, they want to snatch bf from me!

2nd post for the day!

a few sundays ago, I joined the SMRT challenge with my colleague and her bf n fren... this challenge is abt breaking codes and travelling ard to solve the puzzle. very lame one la..

one of her fren pangseh them, so I got the chance to join this funny group.

But I was cursing n swearing when I had to wake up at 6am that day to get ready for the challenge. My colleague, aka my neighbour, msg me at 6.05am, "Why are we doing this to ourselves?"
Totally reflect my sentiment.

But it was worth it afterall!

Enjoyed my team mates company, they are such funny pple, esp the 2 guys. there's uncle David who can't speak mandarin and made a big joke when he asked the auntie at McDonald to 变 his coffee to ice milo. We told him auntie is no magician, she can't 变变变. HAHAHAHA.

Then there's Mr Tall guy, aka my HR personnel cos I've been sending my resume to him to apply for jobs. He's super tall la! 1.9m lor.. and his gf, my colleague, is only a few cm taller than me. so funny when they walk together.

Then the 2 guys became 'magicians' as they took out their 'tools' and performed magic tricks in front of me. Tricksters, but nonetheless made me laughed so hard, i teared on the train.

At the end of the challenge, they ask me shall we take part again next year.
My answer.
"OK lor..."

so i'm not the only one after all...

was browsing thru some fellow ntu marketing grad blogs n i realised many of them are still unemployed.

just like me.

but the diff is, they have been slacking since exams ended while i was working hard at The Strategy then. i've only been out of job for 1 month exactly.
which means i've slacked for only 1 month!!!
which means i've only started spending quality time for HIM for 1 month! (i see some objection...)
which means i should have more time to enjoy!

"Excuses!", HE will say.

whatever.

i've already hone the skill of self denial and a filtering system which allows me to convert what i dont like to hear into what i like to hear.

Example 1
"When are you going to find a job?"
*filter*
"Take your time to find a job."

Example 2
"Why did you reject that offer?"
*filter*
"You are so clever, I'm sure u'll find a good job soon."

I'm not going to act like the others, fretting about not having a job.
I've full confidence that i'll find a job... soon... like.. before 2009?
It is very important for me to remain calm during this unemployment period. I can't afford to lose my faith nor confidence in myself.

meanwhile, maybe let's plan for a short holiday.

apparently this is yours truely idea. when i saw the pilars, it just reminds me of those bollywood shows. u know those actors n actresses will hide behind the palm or coconut trees. yea that's where i got my inspirations from.
super funny! hahahaha! at least they play along with me.

nothing to do in this super warm weather, so i thought i'll go thru the photos taken in cameron n genting in an attempt to cool down...

see the nice views we have from the hotel rooms...
in cameron, u can see the mountain n the beautiful blue blue sky. how cool to be able to draw the curtain n be greeted by mountains n forest behind ur backyard!!!! in singapore u only see mountains/forest of hdb flats...


in genting, we were able to see the whole themepark from our room! how nice! we were able to hv a preview of all the rides (not as if i din know what rides there are... but they first timer mah) n once we reach the themepark, we just chiong to the rides that we want.

singapore is really super hot... i need the air con!!!
the past wk has been wonderful with the cooling weather n yummy food!!!
i think we all need a break every now and then. i feel totally recharged after the short trip to cameron n genting. yea genting again... it's my 3rd time there in less than 1 yr. hahaha! but it's qt disappointing this time round cos my fave shop in genting was closed for renovation!!!(yea i went there so many times that i hv a few fave shops in genting) haiz... was so disappointed... so end up i din buy anything this trip (i used to lug home at least 2 pairs of shoes n a top from genting). but shopping aside, the trip was still fulfilling.
cameron was great!! the pace of life was v slow there (but our pace were v rush becos there's many things we want to do in 1 day.) i think i will wan to move to the countryside when i retire. everyday eat fresh fruits just plucked from the tree and end off the day with a nice dinner with the mountains n rivers winding as the backdrop of the dinner. wooooo~~~ comfort is the word.

as the break had been too wonderful, i'm dreading going to work next wk... well, at least mon is a ph n i get another day of rest.

that's me with the tea plantation behind me. it's so super big, u cant see where it starts or end. anw, tat's nt the bigger tea plantation. yes, there's bigger plantation somewhere in cameron!!
paid RM 60 each for this nature day trip. haiz... other than the 'wow' view of the tea plantation, the rest was a disappointment... we were brought ard the forest to see some plants n know their uses (ok tat's interesting but it's only a small part of the trip) then we went to this mossy forest. acc to the guide, this forest is formed by moss. so when u touch the ground, it has this carpet feel cos it's moss n there's nothing beneath it. it's just a layer of moss. sounds great ah, but nothing much leh. we were made to climb up up n up, tiring.. n wat happens when u reached the top? u come down... -_-|| we din even hv time to take pict. HAIZ... waste money...




look at the strawberries!!! not only do they look good, they are v v tasty too!!! some are so super sweet, they taste like candies!! even the sour ones are nice cos they smell so fresh n fragrant... these strawberries are so nice that even someone who hates strawberry will like them! no kidding. how i wish i can dabao them back to Singapore... but too bad these strawberries cant kept for too long.


oh this is an interesting device in the chinese restaurant we went for our dim sum breakfast!
it's supposedly to make the service better n faster cos when u need anything, u just hv to press the buttons on this device n the waiter will come to u. but it's still the same to me. we pressed the button twice to order food, but no one came. in the end we managed to order when the waitress walked past us. then when we need the bill, we pressed 3 times!!! i almost walk up to the cashier to pay instead.
so my conclusion: great idea, but useless.

looking forward to my taiwan trip. but i'll miss my dear for 8 days... nvm, i shall distract myself by shopping till i drop, or till my wallet drops, whichever comes first. muahahhaa!

abit lag to post this now, but good stuff are meant to be shared rite...
I WENT TO SINGAPORE FLYER!!!

When they started building this flyer thingy, I thought it's the last thing i will ever take (i thought so for the cable car too, but i ended up eating my own words.. all thanks to boyboy)other than the fear of heights, the pricey price tag for the ride puts sg fflyer the last thing on the list of things i want to do.

well, it's still scary when u're high up in the sky n u look down, and the ticket is still ex at $29.90 each, but the experience is WAH! when i got up, i just forgot all my fears and went around the cabin taking photos... i went up at the right time, just nice to catch the transition between day and night. we managed to catch the sun set and it's OMG!! nv knew that singapore can be so beautiful n romantic! but if u're gg with ur bf/gf/dear/honey/sweety it's not gg to be that romantic after all since u'll be sharing the cabin with 15 other passengers, with old pple and small little kids running abt or even worst, babies crying... luckily my cabin was still ok...

We're led to this 'tunnel' where they will take a pict of u and photoshop u into the flyer cabin with the beautiful scenary behind. very boliao la, cost $15 for each photo lor!)

cool module i got
i need to write a blog for a product for the mod i gg to take this sem!
so i think maybe i'll be spending less time on this blog in time to come since i'm required to be updating tat blog like on almost daily basis la!
but then again, since i'm gg to su the mod, let's not be that hardworking... hahaha!
oh there will be 2 ang moh guys in my grp! so exciting!!! havent met them though, but hopefully they are shuai!!! i havent worked with shuai ge for as long as i can remember... ks nt included... shuai ge is his name nt tat he's realy shuai...

ok back to bkk trip.
it's shopping shopping n alot of shopping!!!
until i was qt sick of it...

the highlight of the trip has to be the floating market!!!
it's just like wat i'll imagine it to be. many many boats rowing on the river. then on the boats will be filled with fruits, veg and food... u can buy noodles from the boat n park ur boat near the stall owner boat to finish ur bowl of noodles...

then we went to the grand palace n wat phor(correct spelling??) to see see... hmm nohting much actually, just stare at those gold which u could hv scrap off the building n sell it to be millionaire or billionaire.. hahhaa! i'm crazy le...

then the highlight of shopping must be the trip to the weekend market. woohoo!! i was v stress abt tat trip cos of the previous nightmare, so i was double and even triple careful there. tat's extra stress on top of having to shop for many things there! but in the end we still got thru safely... phew~

ehh... no mood to talk abt bkk trip le... all the wonderful memories in my heart, 一切仅在不言中。
sometimes it's not abt where we went n wat we did, but it's who we go with.

woohoo!!!
miss me? yea i know u miss me, admit it ba!
ok finally have the time and the energy to blog le. let's start.

first of all, i would like to thk the pple who wished me on my bdae, and the list goes
ah yong(u're the first!), eunice, ntuc income (diaoz), my daddy!, ah bi, moo moo n her niu niu, shicong, my guy(u're so late), weixian, jeff, yanzhen, liwei, lijun, minghui(he called me from china!! but too bad i din hear my hp ring. nvm, i still gandong k) and lastly is yongding (u're so late lor... u're last leh)
then also hv those who wished me on facebook like ben, fulin, suying, kc and mr blackie.

and most imptly is the s01 peep who celebrated my bdae with me. gandong~~ they had organised a secret celebration for me which i had totally no idea n suspicion until i saw ms wanrong passing a hp around. hahaha. the plot is super funny...
we were at swensens eating ice cream (super cheap... 3 bucks for 3 scoops of ice cream)then mr zhuo and mr chong was missing. acc to the rest, they went to toilet le... but they went for more than 20min le...
the rest distract me changing topic n i was thinking maybe they want to spend some time tog away from the rest of us ba... hehehe...
so anw, after abt 30min, mr chong came back to swensens n say mr zhuo stomachache and LS. omg... i was so worried cos mr chong look so ganchong for once. i even praised mr chong for being a good buddy cos he went back to hotel to get medicine for mr zhuo.. eeks... liar!!! u can go join star search le la.
then when the 2 of them went back to swensen to meet us, i even asked mr zhuo alot of questions to make sure that he's ok. i really v concerned abt u lor, but u cheated my feelings. sobb sob.. actually they went to buy a cake for me n went back to the hotel to put it in the fridge but they forgot to take key so have to go n get from us.
ok la, i am v gan dong with this gesture cos they had to walk qt far to get back to the hotel then still hv to come back to meet us again. and also the others really did a great job hiding this from me. i'm such a smart girl, will easily see through such plot de, but i didnt until the last min. thks guys for ur effort!!




As for how I spent my day… I slept my day away~~ hahaha! Was qt disappointed with the way I spent the day. Actually I wanted to dong all the way n go out to celebrate or something… but I couldn’t. I needed sleep desperately. I was alr talking nonsense to my parents when we went to this chapel museum near changi v. I told them I went to the floating market by taking a bus and then change to a boat. They all looked v shock n I was wondering what’s so shock abt tat until my dad burst out asking me “u took a plane? How much u paid for the flight? Where did u take the plane to?” then I was like huh??? When did I take a plane? I tot I said I took a bus? Then my mum and cousin also say I did say plane. Omg….

Well, luckily mr zhuo n I decided nt to go to jacky’s concert in the end, otherwise I sure concuss.

Yar so I finally had a v low key birthday after 2 years of party. Had party was to make people remember my birthday. Maybe I’ve tried too hard the past 2 years le, so I decided to tone down this year.
And those who still remember my birthday are the ones who really care.

It's time for a recap for the year 2007!
First of all, I’ve never acknowledge that I’m in year 2007. Sometimes I still think I’m living in 2006.
However, 2007 has been a good year with the occasional downs. It’s filled with tears too, both of joys and sadness.
Let’s start with school.

The 2 best sems in ntu happened to me in 2007, both results wise and also the company. With company like huimin, boss, tsh, ginger and her garlic friends, school is much easier to bear. All the suanings and quarrels made life much more interesting, isn’t it?


I also made a last minute and impulsive decision to join Cerebos competition with fellow Caprios, all thanks to mr tan sc initiative. Though we didn’t win (our 3k. aww~~~) but we got what we set out to achieve, something to write in our resume! Hahahaha! Of course we also wanted the experience n those cliché reasons that u can think so, but the resume reason is also impt mah, rite? It’s been crazy working with the 2 of them. Meet up soon!



Ok let’s don’t forget njcoaa. It’s been a busy year having to work on the syf, concert, alumnite and also the newsletter. Through these, I learnt so much more about myself through working with the others. I must really thank the people who stood by me during these difficult times. Although u all have tight schedule too, u all still spare time to help me and njco. Really really a big thank you for all of u. MUACKS!


Oh 2007 is a special year too cause that’s when most of my friends, including me, turn 21! So being a January baby, I started the ball rolling with a super big pinkie birthday party. Too bad boss din go, otherwise he must be super happy to find so many fellow pinkies. Well, I think so far mine is still the biggest party. I just have a crazy idea to want a party plus gathering for all of my friends. Then it’s party after party after party…


Went to Genting twice! Woohoo! Damn boliao to go there twice but the feel is just different when u go with different people.

Then there’s my health, which acc to mr goh, is super kua zhang cos I can be sick so frequently. Haiz, I also don’t wish to. Ok my new year resolution is to stay healthy k!

Family gatherings are more frequent with the chalets, birthday celebrations and also out of the blue get togethers. So happy! Those little chipmunks will make u either love them very much or hate them v much. But most of the time I just love them too much. Hahaha!


Oh I nearly forgot about my attachment. Got to know a few cute aunties who always talk to me about ahem.. hahaha friendly people and glad to know grace (the chio bu always got everyone staring at her when I go out with her) whom I still keep in touch with. Happy to know that she has found someone to spend the rest of her life with.


There’s also a few important people who made 2007 so much pleasant for me.

Boy boy and ah bi!
He loves me v much!!! Always say he loves me. Hahaha! But he also always scolds me sob sob. Then there’s ah bi who always listen to me talk crap and goes shopping with me (not to mention sponsoring me for many things muahahaha!)


Yongxin, yanzhen and wanying
We are the RVSN! Hahaha! It’s always nice to know that there’s a group of gal friends who will listen to all your complaints abt sch n fren n also share gossips! But we don’t meet up often as a group, do we? Haiz no choice la, there’s changes le mah hor.
Thks yx for letting me have a taste of hall life in the first half of the year. Also thks for ur matchmaking effort ah, xin ku le! So much to say, but yi qie jing zai bu yan zhong.
Thks yz for all the crapping sessions. ok not all are crap but enjoyable! U always make my day leh! Must remember to jiayou and also remember the question we will ask each other when the time is ripe wor.
Thks wy for the late night chats and the occasional emo topics, it does gives me new perspective to certain issues, but I’m a stubborn girl. U must jiayou too! Btw, where’s my bdae present!!!!

I think we have a v weird r/s. we seem to have gatherings ever so often (sometimes 3 times in a week!) but the things we know about each other is very limited isn’t it? But it doesn’t really matter that we don’t know each other well, it’s more impt to know that this group of friends will be with you when u need them. And that’s more than sufficient. Thanks guys!
Oh yar, special thanks to mr zhuo (mr goh don’t be jealous k) cos he has been a wonderful listener to me during this 1yr. really glad to have u around to talk to. But I must say sorry to u too for my occasional bad temper. Occasional only la hor. Next year must still continue to listen to me k. in return I wish u all the best in pursuing your dean’s list wish. U can do it when u want it bad enough. Jiayou! As for mr goh, hope u get a life! hahahaa

Also, I would like to say a very very big thank you to mh. u helped me in many ways and I’m really grateful for ur help. Thanks for being there for me when I felt so tired and frustrated when things didn’t go my way. You made me believe in what I am doing. Also, you made my wish to visit to jewel box come true (finally after I made so much noise abt it), it’s really a v beautiful place. I can only say, thank you!

Also, I am glad to know many new friends this year. Looney, Gab the blackie, mingteck the oldies grp member, huan huan though he din recognise me when i said hi to him, wencong and tiong beng who are can really compete with me for the lamest award, esp wc, ginger's garlic bf and the black horse and yoga man and of cos the many new frens i made in ntu... cant remember who are the ones i only start to know this year... it seems like i know them for v v long le.. hahaha! well, they made my 2007 fulfilling too!

I hope I didn’t miss out on anything impt for 2007.

My wish for 2008: able to let go of the things we need to let go and grip tight of the things we don’t want to lose.
If we are able to do that, we will be happier.

Next up: 2008! Wonder what it has in store for all of us. Hmm…

i'm back...
and i felt as if i've nv been away...
hahaha
in fact i'm even more tired after the trip cos right after i reached singapore, work started...
phone started to ring and pple to meet, sms to reply, stuff to settle...

but at least i've settled the buffet, the newsletter and my pa report...
so now i'm left with the prizes, the registration forms, the games (oh no!!)and also the money...

feeling the butterfies in my stomach...
it's nt difficult to do all these... i just need the time... no time.. time nt enough..
slp nt enough too...

i'm so looking forward to alumnite!!!

hmm this entry is supposed to be an undate abt my trip.. but it has became a to-do list for me... ahhaha!!! pardon me.. this tired girl...

i was browsing some old photos.. ok la nt so old... but they were taken by xiao jian... remember xiao jian??? the 久久见一次 the xiao jian... hahahaha( only those who went taiwan will know...)

i was looking thru the pic we took in taiwan... i hv no dark rings then!!! but i look v sleepy in those pic cos we were hving some kind of marathon in taiwan... zhao chu wan gui... come to think of it...we were v brave ah.. esp when we take those back alley to take the short cut back to hotel... scary sia... btw dear next time must remind me to pass u the pic cd... i put in my file then always forget to pass to u...

maybe someday i'll put up those pic here... those were the days...

oh yar my mum brought home alot of doraemon magnets.. those 7-11 de lor.. alot!!! shh.. dont let my boy boy know.. he will jealous de...
oh yar i hv this classmate who look like ji an!!! n sally n i were trying to recall the name of ji an from the classrm and all the way to the 179 bus... in the end is me who remembered it! (remember such things for wat.. nt as if it helps my gpa...) oh yar ah.. i remember that time when i first saw dear's bro at the airport i say he look like a character from doraemon too ah... was it da xiong? i cant remember... then we went to shilin night market n there's this shop selling comic characters.. we saw a collection of doraemon n i told dear.."hey u see... ur brother is here!" hahaha... how would i expect to be in the same accting grp as him when sch starts? 平时不要讲别人坏话。。

hmm so i've da xiong n ji an as classmates... who's next? xiao ding dang himself/itself?

ok! then i'll play jian dao shi tou bu with him/it!
